February's taste of warm spring weather has us thinking about farm market season! Our produce vendors are busy making plans for the new year. Some already have tomato plants growing in their greenhouses! Here's a look at some important dates for the 2017 season:
Meeting for prospective and returning vendors: April 27
Opening Day: May 27
Seville Yard Sale -- No Market: June 17
Zucchini Smackdown Cooking Contest: Aug. 12
Closing Day: Sept. 30
Holiday Market: Dec. 9
Interested in being a vendor at the Seville Farm Market? Plan to attend the April 27 meeting at 7 p.m. at Seville United Methodist Church, 74 W. Main St., Seville. Come just to get information and ask questions or sign up for the season. The fee to be a seller at the Seville Farm Market remains one of the most affordable around at just $25 for the season.
